**Job Description & Requirements**:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate **Part-Time / Locum Nurse**to provide home-based care for an elderly female patient. The role involves scheduled visits approximately **twice a week**, focusing on nursing care, patient engagement, and caregiver support within a home setting.

**About the Patient**:
The patient is an elderly woman with **mild dementia**and a **gentle, cooperative demeanor**. She benefits from consistent routines, social interaction, and communication in **Mandarin**, which supports her comfort and cognitive stimulation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver **general nursing care**and monitor the patient’s overall well-being
- Provide companionship and engagement by **reading Mandarin newspapers**and conversing with the patient
- Assist and supervise during **short walks**, ensuring safety and mobility support
- **Support the patient in continuing physiotherapy exercises**as prescribed by the home physiotherapist
- Offer occasional **training and guidance**to the main caregiver and domestic helper on basic caregiving practices and safe patient handling
- Monitor for any clinical concerns and escalate appropriately to the **supporting clinic doctors**, while managing routine care independently

**Requirements**:

- **Registered Nurse**with a valid practicing certificate
- **Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin**(required)
- Strong interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider care team
- **Experience in elderly or dementia care is a plus**

**Support Structure**:
Care is primarily **nurse-led**, with medical oversight provided by a team of **clinic-based physicians**who are available for support and escalation as needed. You will also coordinate with the **home physiotherapy team**to ensure continuity of the patient’s rehabilitation goals.
