**Business Overview**: MacDermid Graphics Solutions is a supplier of consumable materials used to transfer images on to consumer packaging materials, our products are used to improve print quality and printing productivity. We produce and market photopolymers through an extensive line of flexographic plates that are used in the consumer packaging and printing industries. Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company whose businesses supply a broad range of solutions that enhance the products people use every day. **Job Purpose**: We are looking for an experienced purchasing professional with a 'can-do' attitude to help us to meet the growing needs of our business and customers within MacDermid Graphics Solutions. We want someone that earns the respect of those they work with and will be a strong administrator, exceptional organiser, great at team work and communication, and a holistic thinker who can link customer and production trends to deliver confident business activity in this area. **Responsibilities**: - Manage the inward supply of a portfolio of production commodities and non-production goods and services working within ESI's Health, Safety and Environmental policies - Prepare for and negotiate contracts on the most commercially competitive terms with due regard to specification, policy, brand and plans - Support the implementation of the overall business plan by acting as the Purchasing team member responsible for a particular sector of the business - Prepare budgets and forecasting based on market analysis, monitoring price performance versus budget and actuals - Research and identify alternate sources for existing or new goods and services, such as bulk chemicals, packaging and other speciality products. - Conduct supplier visits to appraise production capabilities/commercial viability - Liaison with 3rd parties including freight/logistics support activity **Skills**: **Competencies**: - 2021 Overall Competency Rating - 1.
