Tracing its roots back to 1983, Sir Stamford Raffles Group is a Singapore-headquartered boutique property developer with a singular goal of creating and unlocking exceptional value from opportunity-rich frontier markets of Southeast Asia.
Developing a large integrated residential, commercial, education and healthcare development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia; the Group is building out its corporate HQ in Singapore and in-theatre in Cambodia.
**BUSINESS MANAGER (BUSINESS PARTNERING)**
Reporting directly to the Deputy COO, the Appointee shall provide support in all aspects of business partnering in project operations, human resource, IT & administration at the Group and its subsidiaries.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support in development and implementation of business plans and strategies that ensure team achievement in project revenue targets, financial & cost management; coupled with growth objectives.
- Business partner to Finance in management of operational budgets, financial reports, and financial forecasts to ensure timely variance reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external stakeholders (eg. Vendors and regulatory agencies) and its related problem solving.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements (locally & regionally).
- Support in development and updates of Standard Operating Procedure across all corporate service units.
- Business Partner to Corporate Finance in regional ERP system implementation ie Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software.
- To coordinate with all departments, such as finance, HR, IT, operation and marketing, to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments and implement best practices as appropriate.
- Other Ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Deputy COO as and when required
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Accountancy or Business Studies or other related professional qualification/ACCA (CA preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of audit experience with an international audit firm.
- Minimum of 3 years of generalist experience (including eg. finance, System-Navision, HR, administration and operation).
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects with strong business partnering & problem-solving skill.
- Strong management skills, including the ability to handle operational payroll, hire, and training of staff members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in project development (unlimited to ERP system and construction).
- Regional experience will be a plus, as ad-hoc travelling is expected.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and write Khmer will be an added advantage.
