Purpose of the Job

Oversee the consolidation of all the AET subsidiary accounts into one AET Financials Review and provide consolidated financial reports for the Board, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and/or MISC Group.
Review new accounting changes and keep the Group abreast of any changes to the accounting standards and impact on the Group if any.
Support Finance Leadership Team (FLT) in the preparation of impairment and onerous contract review, accounting standards and loan covenant.

Key Accountabilities

Review and provide consolidated financial reports for the Board,ELT and/or MISC Group
Lead Consolidation team to ensure coordinate timely and quality closure of financial books and consolidation at period end in accordance with corporate requirements
Monitor group compliance at month end to ensure month end close goes smoothly
Provide guidance to the Regional Finance team members on accounting issues in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, AET policies and procedures
Ensure the Consolidation team routinely monitors the controls within the group in order to be in compliance with internal and external requirements
Review new accounting changes and advise FLT of any changes required to AET policies and procedures as well as assessment of impact of the changes if any
Support FLT in the preparation of impairment and onerous contract review, accounting standards and loan covenants
Liaise with MISC Group Finance Team and AET’s other departments on a range of issues; including but not limited to reporting requirements as well as providing advice impacting AET as a whole
Coordinate, assist and address all applicable audit issues raised by external and internal auditors
Support AET’s other departments and external parties on compliance checks
Support the transformation and digitalisation of consolidation processes
Any other ad-hoc tasks

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Qualified with a professional financial body (ICAEW / ICPA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA etc)

**Experience**:
5-10 years post qualified with extensive IFRS experience and industry experience
Big 4 Experience preferred
