At Splunk, as an Observability Sales Strategist you will drive customer success and innovation for Splunk's products, customers, partners, and the worldwide data driven IT and DevOps communities. Sales Strategists leverage their deep technical experiences, coupled with strong sales acumen, to guide Splunk's field teams with the best methods to navigate Observability for IT and DevOps opportunities while creating and leading strategic initiatives that continue to position Splunk as the world leader in Observability. A Sales Strategist must have deep technical capability in at least one of the following: IT Service Management, IT Operational Intelligence, Application Management, or DevOps, as well as well honed interpersonal skills. Â
You will engage with Splunk and partner sales teams to navigate the IT & DevOps community, with an eye towards influencing company directions and the industry at large. They will uncover the underlying ops and o11y needs of leading organisations and propose novel, industry leading use cases to meet these requirements. You will work cross
- functionally to craft a repeatable, scalable process to drive Splunk's go-to-market. This role facilitates field and partner enablement and helps ensure alignment of use case allignment from discovery through to delivery, adoption and expansion.
You are capable of communicating at an executive level as a trusted advisor, while continuing to be a deeply technical practitioner articulating and demonstrating Splunk's unique value propositions to customers, prospects and partners.

This role is based in Singapore but APAC wide, and travel around the region will be required when it is appropriate and safe.
In summary, a successful Observability Sales Strategist will do the following:
- Execute '“ drive direct customer success with Splunk.
- Evangelism '“ consistently communicates as a thought leader in Observability for IT and DevOps.
- Enable '“ Build world-class technical expertise in the Splunk field organization.
- Evolve '“ Work cross-functionally to improve Splunk and our go-to-market capabilities.
- Ecosystem '“ Partner effectively to amplify our efforts and successes.
Who?
- Minimum of 10 years or work experience in IT Operations, DevOps or closely related fields.
- Outcome and value focussedÂ
- Analytic background with the ability to constantly monitor results
- Capable of influencing geographically diverse teams virtually.
- Previous experience as a practitioner in a specific discipline in either a research, consulting or operations role is required.
- Demonstrable experience delivering technology evangelism and enablement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Self-motivated problem solver in environments ranging from the straight forward to highly complex
- Capable of building material to help drive our regional go to market
