The Benefits Coordinator supports and ensures all aspects of the administration and customer service of the benefits function for APCJ are delivered in compliance with internal Company policies, departmental standards and with government regulations.
The Benefits Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Compensation and Benefits Manager and assist in the planning, development, and implementation of new and revised benefits programs, policies, and procedures in response to the Company's goals and to ensure we are competitive in the markets where we do business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and respond questions to employees on escalated cases from HR Ops team on benefit plans, including eligibility, covered services and exclusions
- Coordinate the prompt enrollment and disenrollment of employees during onboarding & offboarding processes.
- Ensure monthly payroll submissions are administrated and submitted as per criteria set by payroll
- Collaborate closely with Compensation & Benefit Manager to ensure insurance plans are renewed according to agreed standards
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing policies, guidelines, and procedures. Proactively escalate when required
- Support new or legacy vendor onboarding
- Manage the benefits purchase order and invoice approval processes
- Support the Compensation and Benefits Manager in planning function resources and future projects
- Organize benefits presentation session with benefits vendors for new hires and employees. Provide back up for Comp and Benefits Manager when required
- Assist in collection of data for internal benefit reviews and analysis as well as external benchmarking.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- 3+ years’ experience in benefits administration across multiple countries in APCJ
- Knowledge of Darwin benefits administration system desirable
- Experience working in a high tech, fast paced environment highly desirable
- Passion for innovation and improvement and confidence in sharing new ideas
- Strong administration and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and quick turn around
- Strong drive to achieve with a proven track record of delivering results
- Self-motivated, highly collaborative and a strong focus on quality and efficiency
- Natural curiosity to want to learn more and ask questions
- Excellent interpersonal skills - “Customer Focused”
- Excellent problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office products
- Experience with HR systems including Workday desirable
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification preferred
