We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level. **Job responsibilities** - Executes standard software solution, design, development, and technical troubleshooting - Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance - Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications - Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation - Applies technical troubleshooting to breakdown solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity - Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect - Understand Business Requirements and Functional Specifications and able to understand high level payment processing flows and stages in various type of payment processing in the world (clearing systems of the respective central banks)Provide technical support for User Acceptance Testing **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills** - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages - Demonstrated ability to code in one or more languages - Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle - Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Strong experience in using RDBMS (Oracle) - Demonstrated experience in writing Junits for unit testing to achieve >90% code coverage - Experience in basic Unix / Shell scripting **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills** - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies - Exposure to cloud technologies - Experience in Micro service, Spring Boot - Experience in using code scanning tools like black duck
