The **Fitness and Wellness Specialist**is responsible for overseeing all fitness and wellness operations of the hotel, ensuring guests receive exceptional health and wellness services. Also serving as a **RunWestin Concierge**, The Fitness and Wellness Specialist will provide expert guidance and support to guests participating in the RunWestin program, offering personalized running route recommendations, organizing running events, and enhancing guests' overall wellness experience.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise daily operations of the fitness center and spa facilities including equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement wellness programs, fitness classes, and personalized training sessions for guests.
- Provide advice to guests on the correct method of exercising with fitness equipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance to The Westin Brand standards, addressing guest inquiries and wellness needs promptly and professionally.
- Conduct RunWestin by:

- Offering personalized WestinWORKOUT Route recommendations tailored to guests' fitness levels and interests.
- Organizing and leading running events or group runs for guests.
- Collaborating with local running groups and wellness partners to enhance guest experience.
- Acting as a wellness ambassador for the property
- Be actively involved in all brand initiatives in the fitness and wellness space such as Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon and Westin Wellness Weekends.
- Promote, monitor, order, and maintain inventory of spa and fitness supplies and equipment.
- Handle daily operations and enquiries at Heavenly Spa by Westin
- Provide information on spa services, treatments, and pricing.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs at the Spa reception, process payments, and issue receipts.
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
- Coordinate with therapists and spa associates to ensure smooth scheduling and guest flow.
- Resolve minor issues or escalate as required
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards within the fitness and wellness areas.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote wellness initiatives and RunWestin offerings to guests and associates
- Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
- Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in wellness areas.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
- Assist in preparing daily reports

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

Education: Diploma in Fitness or equivalent

Related Work Experience: 2-years of related work experience.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

License or Certification: CPR Certification

First Aid Certification

Fitness Equipment Certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
