**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for superheated boiler steam system design and equipment incl. tri-fuel capability selection for FPSO Project (yard based).
- Function as Project Manager for engine room system design upgrades (boilers, steam systems, feed water systems, compressed air systems, control systems) on board FPSO.
- Oversee crude oil firing capable boiler and steam system upgrades and implementation of engine room upgrades on board FPSO.
- Oversee post upgrade operational analysis on board FPSO.
- Responsible for new steam boiler installation and steam system upgrade supervision on FPSO conversion (yard based).
- Lead boiler water chemistry analysis for all operational offshore units.
- Lead freshwater generation output analysis for all operational offshore units.
- Lead boiler combustion system analysis all for operational offshore units (Crude Oil, Fuel Gas, MDO).
- Act as focal point for steam system failure analysis for all operational offshore units.

**Requirements**:

- Professional certificate in mechanical and electrical marine engineering. Holder of STCW Chief Engineer Officer Certificate with no limits (steam & engine) is a strong advantage.
- Above 30 years of operational experience on FPSO projects across APAC, Europe and Americas.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in operation and maintenance of marine superheated steam boilers.
- Above 15 years of experience handling marine boiler electrical and instrument systems.
- Above 15 years of experience handling boiler combustion systems, especially dual and tri-fuel systems including MDO, Crude Oil, Fuel Gas).
- Minimum 15 years of team lead experience managing multidisciplinary teams worldwide.
- Above 15 years of involvement in FPSO conversion projects of up to USD 6 billion project value.
- Expert functional knowledge of boiler water chemistry/analysis and freshwater production technology including evaporation, reverse osmosis, de-mineralization, condensate polishing.
- Expert functional knowledge of rotating machinery including Diesel engines, gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal, screw and reciprocating gas compressors, hydraulic systems, cranes, fuel oil purifiers, centrifuges, decanters.
- Able to start work at short notice.
