Singapore Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants Full time

**Job Descriptions**:
1. Conceptualise and operationalise initiatives to engage and support the targeted group of members:

- Different member segments (including young and experienced accountants etc)
- Execute members’ engagement activities (including talks, networking, mentorship programmes etc)
- Proactively engage the industry to understand their needs

2. Assist ISCA’s career support initiatives:

- ISCA Career Portal with 5,000 job listings (liaising with WSG, assist in coordination posting related matters)
- Career matching services (liaising with job seekers and employers to facilitate the matching service)

3. Manage ISCA’s government relations initiatives:

- Engage with relevant government and/ or related sectoral agencies
- Coordinate meaningful analysis to communicate value-add to relevant government agencies
- Manage working relationships and build a network with key stakeholders, including relevant government agencies
- Solicit support (eg. funding scheme) on an as-needed basis for the Institute’s initiatives, to support the sector
- Work with government agencies on forming communities of practices

4. In addition to the above key projects, below are the operational tasks:

- Secretariat for relevant committees (including members engagement, CFOs etc)
- Assist in committee related initiatives
- Organise various finance leaders networking events, and career pathway talks
- Organise and facilitate webinars and finance leaders roundtable
- Secretariat for Singapore Corporate Awards and Best CFO awards
- Marketing and outreach for related events

**Job Requirements**:

- A degree in accountancy with 6 - 8 years of working experience, of which at least 3 years have been spent in a commercial accounting role preferably with at least 1-2 years of experience in a managerial capacity
- Chartered Accountant (Singapore)
- Strong writing and presentation abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside ISCA
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented mind with a natural ability to multi-task
- Agile in picking up intricacies of various member segments and developing appropriate programmes to address those segments
- Possess strong project management abilities
- Able to work well independently, as well as in a team
- Social media savvy
