**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Prio**:

- Act as a point of contact for teachers, students and families in all matters relating to information and guidance for students about studying in other countries;
- Participate in the design and implementation of the school's guidance policy;
- Inform students and parents about careers guidance (choice of baccalaureate courses, post-baccalaureate studies);
- Conduct counseling interviews with students and parents, at their request;
- Organize events (school and university presentations);
- Support students in the follow-up and development of their study plans, and ultimately their transition to higher education.
- Accompany head teachers in personalized guidance interviews with students, particularly in Première and Terminale classes.
- Coordinate school-wide career guidance initiatives in conjunction with primary teachers.

**Teaching**:

- Teaching in middle school and high school
- Designing and implement learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards
- Designing and implementing assessment methods of student’s learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners
- Ensuring students acquire skills including capacities, attitudes and procedural knowledge
- Being an expert in the conduct of a class and foster the interest and participation of students
- Providing personalised follow-up of students in relation with families and participate in their orientation project
- Contributing to the school’s operation and to teamwork
- Adapting his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and measure their achievements
- Using information and communication technologies to support learnings

**SKILLS,ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION**
- French Ministry of Education degree holder or equivalent
- Experience in teaching in Middle and High school is preferable and namely on the final year is preferable
- Knowledge of the French curriculum
- Organisational and interpersonal skills
- Responsiveness and availability
- Adaptability and benevolence
- Very good writing and speaking skills
- Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful
- Experience as a Form teacher and coordination for the students career orientation plan would be strong benefit
- Mastery of digital tools and/or experience as a digital referent appreciated
- Ability to adapt to French-speaking and non French-speaking students
- Ability to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students
- Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way
- Proficiency in English (B1 level and above) is appreciated for supporting bilingual students and families
