About the job

This internship will be working with our Growth team to conduct research on the startup, tech and business ecosystem in Southeast Asia. The project will contribute to the company's sales strategy, fundraising model and product roadmap. This will be a remote role, with the option of working full time (3 months), or part-time (6 months) and an opportunity to join the Sales or Marketing team full-time afterwards. You will report directly to the Head of Business Development.

**The opportunity**
- Market sizing research and analysis to figure out the TAM (total addressable market) of different segments across the startup, tech and business ecosystem that will inform new growth and revenue opportunities.
- Revenue and financial modelling to quantify the dollar value of possible segments, and data analysis to breakdown the opportunities of different industry verticals.
- Create highly valuable processes by indexing and storing data that inform new business operations.

It is okay if you haven’t done these things before, as long as you are willing to roll up your sleeves and learn

**What you will learn**
- Build a strong understanding of the startup and tech landscape in Southeast Asia
- Strengthen your research skills, and how startups use quantitative analysis of this research to develop their business and financial model
- How to develop new workflows and processes that will be used by all functions across sales, marketing and product.

About you- You have at least 1-year experience through other internships, school/personal projects, or other early roles that touch on any of the responsibilities above.
- You have a strong interest in entrepreneurship, startups or venture capital. You are energised by the idea of researching and reading into emerging industries and the people behind them.
- You are excited to work in a remote team environment giving you the opportunity to build relationships with coworkers in different countries, but also space to take ownership of your work independently. You want to work collaboratively, and don’t feel uncomfortable putting your hand up to ask for help.
- You are comfortable with using Excel/Google Sheets and intrigued by the opportunity to work with large sets of data. Hubspot and no code tools is a plus.
- You are analytical and a systems thinker.
- You are relentlessly organised, detail orientated and meticulous with your work.Ready to apply?
