**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The company is seeking a professional with grit and passion for technology and breaking new ground in the beauty and wellness ecosystem. He/she will work closely with a team of experienced developers to leverage
AI/ML technologies in building the state-of-the-art recommendation system for E-commerce. By working with us, you will expand your knowledge and skills by engaging in the full life cycle of product development from researching, design, development, iteration to commercialization.

Your duties include:

- Participate in an agile team of developers, working as a team towards project requirements and schedules.
- Develop, test, and deploy advanced AI/ML algorithms for product recommendation on cloud servers.
- Perform data preparation and analysis for AI modelling, algorithm benchmarking, and software testing.
- Write code that you are proud of, with extensibility, scalability, and performance in mind.
- Maintain well-organized and reliable technical documentation throughout the development life cycle.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in production-level Python programming.
- Solid expertise and experience in collaborative filtering and database management / image processing and OpenCV.
- Strong knowledge and experience in transfer learning and AI/ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MXNet.
- Good knowledge in computer science and software engineering concepts such as OOP, continuous integration, and concurrency (threading, multiprocessing, async IO).
- Practical experience with development environments and toolchains such as Linux, Git, and Docker.
- Good skills in communication (both written and verbal), data storytelling, and information visualization.
- Past experience in developing recommendation systems or other AI/ML solutions that were deployed in a production setting is a plus.
- Publications on recommendation systems or other AI/ML related topics is a plus.
**OTHER INFORMATION**
- Remote collaboration and work from home are supported.

**Salary**: $5,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
