Senior IT Operations Engineer

**What’s the role?**

The OLM Business Analyst will work with multiple stakeholders and service providers to deliver IT solutions and support to meet the business needs

Your accountabilities include the following:

- Liaison with a diverse set of business and IT stakeholders
- Act as a functional expert for both business process and management information in a delivery space.
- Manage the relationships with multiple parties, such as Downstream IT Business Managers, Downstream Competence Centre Managers, Application Managed Service providers and Infrastructure Service providers.
- Drive Incident/Problem resolution by assisting in key operational activities in terms of delivery, fixes, and supportability with operations staff and/suppliers.
- Assist in change ticket review / approvals / planning.
- Ensure operation run books, support guidelines, and procedures are produced and maintained for use.
- Assist in representing SOM towards the ITM for landscapes in scope sharing relevant information and managing priorities/escalations.
- Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work collaboratively and lead effectively across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations, and ability to work autonomously.

**Technical Skills**
- Knowledge in functional and technical use of the ETRM products like Endur/Aligne, with exposure to scripting
- Exposure to AVS/JVS, Open Components
- Understand the interfacing between ETRM and other peripheral systems, and have capability to troubleshoot
- Knowledge on Azure Dev Ops

**Exposure to**:

- Technical skills in.NET, Azure Data Factory, data bricks and CI/CD.
- Azure components (App Service, Function App, Storage Account, Cosmos DB (for Mongo), Azure Key Vault, Log Analytics, Vnet/subnet
- Familiarity with any reporting tools such as Power BI etc.
- Technologies like Python 3.9
- Technical components like.net core, React, Swagger, API Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure app service for containers - wrappers, Azure Blob storage, Azure Key Vault, Alteryx

**What we need from you**

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Information Technology or similar certification.
- Strong IT service management, business partnering, stakeholder management, analysis and problem-solving skills, good communication skills
- Experienced in IT support & understanding of trading lifecycle of the Trading process - from trade capture, through scheduling the commodity for delivery.
- Knowledge in trading business domain - Energy Trading, ETRM (Energy Trading Risk Management) or CTRM (Commodity Trading Risk Management)
- Preferred to have good knowledge in Gas Trading, LNG trading, Power trading, Nominations, Risk/MTM/PNL, Deal life cycle, End of day process, Deal Capture, accounting process, settlements etc
