Singapore Epworth Community Services Full time

**Job responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies in volunteer attraction and management, including conceptualising, planning and implementing outreach initiatives to increase awareness of the organisation’s programmes.
- Recruit, engage and foster strong relationships with existing and new volunteers.
- Effectively administer volunteer management systems and processes.
- Develop and support the implementation of relevant training programmes to enhance volunteer capabilities and improve volunteer engagement and retention.
- Support organisation transformation initiatives, including administering surveys and following up on post-survey actions for external stakeholders.
- Work closely with departments to coordinate volunteer contributions on both department and organisation-wide levels for effective management and reporting purposes as well as coordinating and managing the publication of the Annual Report.
- Effectively handle communications with volunteers and internal departments on various platforms, including website and social media, to optimise content and reach.
- Manage the organisation’s website to ensure integrity and currency.
- Manage the membership roll of the organisation.
- Be involved in projects as directed by Assistant Manager (Community Relations) and/or the Executive Director.
- Report directly and is accountable to Assistant Manager (Community Relations).

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Social Work/Community Development OR Bachelor/Diploma in Mass Communication/Business with some experience in fundraising and volunteer acquisition events.
- Familiarity with public education, event management, training programmes and projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Good understanding of the social service and/or non-profit sector
- Ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Self-starter, able to work outside office hours on occasion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to be adaptable and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in attracting, managing and working with external stakeholders (eg. volunteers) will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT knowledge and skills
