Our client is a leading multi-asset investment firm with a strong presence across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and China, specializing in private credit, hybrid capital, and structured financing solutions. With a multi-billion-dollar capital base and strategic partnerships with sovereign wealth funds and global institutional investors, the firm is pioneering alternative financing for high-growth companies across technology, digital infrastructure, and sustainable industries.

As the firm expands its private credit platform, we are seeking a high-caliber Associate / Senior Associate to join the team. This role provides direct exposure to growth-stage credit transactions, hands-on deal structuring, and access to top-tier investment professionals shaping the future of private credit in Asia.

**Your Impact: Key Responsibilities**

**Investment Origination & Deal Execution**
- Identify and evaluate private credit investment opportunities, including venture debt, acquisition financing, and hybrid structures.
- Build financial models, conduct stress testing, and underwrite credit investments with a focus on high-growth companies.
- Draft and present investment committee memos, supporting deal approval processes.
- Work closely with legal teams on structuring and negotiating transaction documents.

**Portfolio Management & Credit Risk**
- Perform fundamental credit analysis and risk assessment for portfolio companies.
- Manage waivers, amendments, and covenant compliance across active investments.
- Support the quarterly fund valuation process and LP reporting requirements.

**Market Intelligence & Strategic Expansion**
- Track market trends in private credit, structured finance, and late-stage growth funding.
- Support fundraising initiatives and institutional investor engagement.
- Collaborate with regional teams across Singapore, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam to enhance cross-border deal flow.

**Who Should Apply?**

✔ Background & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, structured lending, growth-stage investing, or investment banking (DCM, structured finance, or leveraged finance).
- Strong understanding of venture debt, unitranche, mezzanine financing, and hybrid capital structures.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, credit underwriting, and transaction structuring.
- Prior exposure to Southeast Asian or South Asian private markets is a plus.

- Strong analytical and credit risk assessment skills, particularly in high-growth sectors.
- Sharp negotiation and structuring expertise, with experience in legal documentation.
- Confident communicator with the ability to present investment cases to senior leadership and institutional investors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth investment environment.
- Fluency in Southeast Asian languages is a plus but not required.
