Office of Improvement Science

The Office of Improvement Science (OIS) is an integralpart of Changi General Hospital’s transformative journey from a volume tovalue-based healthcare system for patients across the care continuum in theeastern part of Singapore. You will have first-hand opportunities to beintimately involved in the transformation of care processes and contribute tothe nationwide evolution of the healthcare landscape.
**Responsibilities**:
- FacilitateImprovement projects using known improvement methodologies and ensure thatprojects are being driven to achieve required outcomes within agreed timeframes
- Facilitatethe redefinition of practice parameters which improve Quality, Safety and CareProcesses
- Identifyeffective practices with potential for transfer across the various caresettings
- Assistwith development of operational definitions for indicators
- Supportcollection and perform analysis and interpretation of data
- Supportand deliver Quality Improvement (QI) and Patient Safety (PS) training asrequired
- Developand support plans and activities for culture building for QI and PS as required
- Support/ participate om various Quality and Safety committees / workgroups
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’sdegree in any relevant discipline, fresh degree holders are welcome to apply.
- Minimum1 year of working experience preferably with Improvement Sciences exposure e.g.Model for Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean, Human Factors, Design Thinking,Psychology, Sociology
- Stronganalytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effectiveteam player with strong interpersonal skills
- Facilitation,communication capabilities and project management skills will be an addedadvantage
- Goodattention to detail and able to work independently with appropriate coaching
- Mustbe fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations
