We are a local company serving the Aerospace, Oilfield & Gas and Medical industries in the region. Our company is a distributor for The Lee Company in the US which specialises in high performance miniature hydraulic devices and a few other principals. Due to expanding business, we are looking for suitably qualified people to fill the following position:
**Sourcing Specialist**Responsibilities**:_
- Responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier database.
- Support through the identification of suppliers, RFQ and engaging the customers as required.
- Handle requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
- Work cross functionally with sales, engineering and customer service departments to develop sourcing opportunities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and customers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Develop and establish effective supplier/customers relationship management.
- Liaise with Principals/Suppliers in other countries with regards to technical matters.
- Constant review and monitoring of vendor performance to ensure that quality goods and services are delivered on time.
- **Requirements**:_
- Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
- At least 2 to 3 years’ working experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Training will be provided.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative, works with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building, and project management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.

Our office is located near Jurong East and Clementi area.
