**What You Will Be Doing**

As a System Validation Engineer in the Compute/CXL Design Engineering Group at Micron Technology Inc. you will join a validation team bringing a new technology to market.

CXL (Compute Express Link) is a next generation Cache-Coherent Interconnect for Processors, Memory Expansion and Accelerators.

Your responsibilities include system-level CXL validation, system characterization and failure analysis, and development of system diagnostic tools.

Your day to day functions may include: evaluating and developing diagnostic software, system debug and test methodologies, designing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, crafting custom tools and communicating data to customers both inside and outside of Micron.

We work with other specialists and management within the Compute/CXL Design Engineering Group as well as other individuals from other departments throughout Micron. We also collaborate with system enablers outside of Micron and on occasion may need to visit their sites.

**Your Key Responsibilities Will Include**:

- Build and develop validation strategies for a new technology which may include developing system test methodologies and memory diagnostic tools
- Debug system and CXL related issues
- Define & execute system test methodologies
- Collaborating with system enablers outside of Micron
- Lead Micron Product Qualifications with Internal & External customers
- Build & develop validation strategies for a new or existing technologies which may include developing system test methodologies and system diagnostic tools
- Design and implement automation for System Level testing

**Preferred Education and Experience**:

- Hardware: X86, ARM, System, Motherboard, DRAM, SSD, Intel, AMD, PCIe
- Equipment: Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, motherboard
- Software: Python, Linux, C, C++, Assembly
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical or computer engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant field.
