We are looking for a dedicated Utility Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. This is an ambitious opportunity to work at a world-class facility, ensuring flawless operations and maintenance of our utilities systems. **Responsibilities**:

- Provide direction and supervision to support utilities system maintenance and operation.
- Coordinate the operation and maintenance of HVAC, chiller, boilers, air compressor, WFI, and RODI systems.
- Collaborate with the validation team to complete the qualification and re-qualification of facilities and utilities systems.
- Draft and prepare maintenance and operation SOPs and PM plans for utility systems.
- Manage utilities and facilities systems-related changes and deviation management.
- Cooperate with internal and external audit teams.
- Complete small CAPEX projects related to utilities and facilities systems.
- Develop and implement utilities and facilities shutdown plans.
- Review as-built drawings, engineering technical data, and performance data.
- Support third-party vendors in performing routine inspection, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance based on site engineering and quality requirements.
- Complete all routine maintenance works as scheduled and in compliance with engineering standards and safety procedures.
- Accurately complete and process all GMP documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- University degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

**Experience**:

- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in the maintenance of utilities and facilities systems, including validation/GMP issues.
- Experience with Building Management Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems.
- Understanding of electrical standards and local requirements, and general electrical safety standard methodologies.
- SAP/CMMS experience is an advantage.

**Proficiencies**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
- Strong planning, scheduling, organizing, prioritizing, and project coordination skills.
- Deep understanding of facilities systems related to validation/GMP requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of various RCA tools.
- Capable of working independently and performing machine maintenance work.
