**What the role is**
- The Governance & Administration (GA) team is part of Innovation, Technology and Talent Development (ITTD) division that drives transformation of our maritime industry and development of a vibrant maritime innovation ecosystem in Singapore. The GA team supports the overarching objectives as follows: a) Building up technological capabilities within our local maritime industry in key niche areas; b) Building a world-class port and port services that are smarter, safer, more efficient & sustainable; c) Transforming the maritime sector into a highly productive and innovative cluster by leveraging leading-edge technology.

**What you will be working on**
- As a member of the GA team, your main duties and responsibilities are: (a) Process grant claims and disbursements, including checking of documentations and clarification with grant applicants and project managers, issuance of offer letters, etc; and (b) Assist GA team in data collection and reporting to senior management and stakeholders. In addition, you will be involved in the division’s finance/budgeting and procurement functions. You will also provide administrative and logistics support to the division. Examples of such responsibilities are calendar management, assisting in organising of meetings/events, supporting division’s knowledge management, and system access management.

**What we are looking for**
- Relevant training and industry experience in funds governance, grant administration, accounting and/or finance. - Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel), and good applied knowledge of statistical tools. - Effective communicator, competent in both spoken and written English. - Domain knowledge and experience in maritime, port and marine industry is preferred. - Experience working on new systems and/or using systems such as Workday is a plus.
