Updated 31-Jan-23**Position Title** Finance Manager **Job Type** Full time **Location** Singapore **Department** Finance **Reports to** GM Singapore **Team** - Accountant - Accounts Assistant - Accounts Executive **The Role** **Position Objectives** - Produce, analyse and report financial related information in a timely and accurate manner - Drive initiatives for improvement in the effective and efficient running of the Finance function - Contribute to the financial health of the office by managing working capital - Assist in the professional development of the Finance team **Key Responsibilities and Duties** **Management reporting and analysis** - Monthly and year end closing of accounts, preparation and review of monthly management P&L (including variance analysis and commentary) for submission to GM, OH and London - Prepare specified GL reconciliations and review those prepared by Finance team members, eg bank, client monies, etc - Review of SRA Breaches Register - Internal Compliance Reporting - Review office payments and expense claims to ensure they comply with Firm policies and procedures - Review monthly rolling cashflow forecasts **Working capital** - Follow up fee earners on missing timesheets and report persistent offenders to GM - Monitor fee earner utilisation levels and review those below target of 80% with GM - Drive the billing of WIP and collection of Debts with a target lock up of
