**Job Description**:
**Trade Finance**
- Lead negotiations with banking partners to arrange vanilla trade finance facilities (letters of credit, bonds, guarantees, receivable discounting) and accountable for obtaiing best available price and service.
- Coordination among legal, credit, sales teams, banks and insurers to ensure optimal pricing and terms in line with internal governance and risk framework
- Run RFP’s when required for these products with large groups of banks, covering global scope of Marketing (Singapore, London, China, South Africa, Brazil, Chile)
- Relationship management with third parties across the globe: banks (30+), general and specialist trade credit and performance risk insurers, commodity traders; development strategic or tactical relationships with new parties as required
- Provide strategic and tactical operational support and guidance to sales operations and commercial on daily trade finance operations by providing guidelines and framework, as well as directly troubleshooting complex transactions.
- Management and development of the Trade Finance Analyst to support allocation of export letters of credit, day to day pricing, credit lines, confirmation service and operational trouble-shooting requirements of this area.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Market watch and internal support / guidance of relevant fintech solutions in the trade finance area
- Prepare in any necessary reporting or budgeting in trade finance area
- Identify process improvements and system-related efficiency opportunities related to trade finance products
- Facilitate KYC and administration of trade finance products

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in commodity marketing / commercial analysis within a large organisation
- Strong understanding of commodity trading with a focus on trade finance products
- Good understanding of mining and/or extractive industries
- Competent across the range of tools and frameworks of strategic and financial analysis and project management
- Good understanding of Bank’s regulations, capital model, credit reviews and compliance
- Advanced Treasury background: Deep understanding of corporate lending techniques, cash management, FX and experience in identify and managing imacpt and linkage to other financing arrangements across a multinational corporation (covenants, representations, credit rating)
