**Job Purpose**

**What the job should do?**
- Regional scope to develop the IWM product shelf and proposition consistently across the region, guiding and supporting the in-country product teams ensuring speed-to-market and high quality products and processes.
- Key areas to be covered under this role:
a. Regional scope to develop the IWM product shelf and proposition

b. Ensure consistency across the region, allowing for localisation where required

c. Guiding and supporting the in-country product teams ensuring speed-to-market and high quality products and processes

- The role would be reporting to the Head of Group Islamic Wealth Management

- Streamlined product processes

Robust product controls

**Product development strategy**

Develop and execute comprehensive product development strategy

**Innovation**

Drive innovation in IWM ensuring our competitive edge while maintaining Shariah compliance.

**Market research**

Able to identify trends, customer preferences and opportunities for new Islamic financial products

**Stakeholder collaboration and Product Control**

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Shariah scholars, legal, risk management and marketing teams to ensure alignment in product development.

Liase with Maybank Group entities and 3rd party product providers, as well as system vendors where required

**Product Lifecycle management and Profitability Management**

Oversee entire lifecycle of Islamic Wealth Management products, from conceptualization to launch and manage any necessary product modifications or withdrawals.

Measure product performance, profitability and take corrective actions where required.

**Job Requirement**
- MBA, Product management and /or wealth management certification
- 10-20 years experience in Islamic finance, wealth management and product development
- Islamic finance expertise especially in Islamic Wealth Management
- Strategic vision
- Leadership skills
- Product management and development experience
- Financial modelling skills
- Regulatory compliance
- Communication skills
- Risk and compliance awareness
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
- International experience would be a plus
- Ability to lead a decentralized team
