[What the role is]

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Innovation Lab)

[What you will be working on]

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
Senior Lecturer will lead and engage in collaborative initiatives in technological research, business innovation, industry project and consultancy work as well as leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity. He/she is also expected to train/mentor junior staff by providing technical guidance.
- To revamp websites and dashboard with improvement in UX/UI
- To support / lead UX/UI in industry projects and TP start-ups apps development
- To conduct / develop I&ED curriculum & programs
- To conduct / develop workshop training for staff, students, alumni, incubatee & partners
- Project management and work on multi-disciplinary innovation projects
- Mentor cross diploma student projects
- Supporting TP start-ups in mentorship, consultation, training, prototyping and facilities
- Organize and oversee programs, events and stakeholder engagements
- Working in collaboration with Schools/Departments on projects & programs
- Support / Lead Product / Communication design and development
- Other necessary ad-hoc duties and projects.

[What we are looking for]

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Qualification in suitable disciplines including product design, service design, human centered design, UX/UI or equivalent
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in related fields
- Good knowledge in Design Thinking / System Thinking / Human Centered Design
- Creative Problem-Solving Skills
- UX / UI (User Experience & User Interface)
- Product / Service Development Processes
- Motivated and positive attitude, enjoys meeting and networking with people
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adopt a student learning centric perspective
- Good written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to exercise creativity and initiative
