Urban Paws is a full-service pet concept that started 15 years ago, with a dream to provide high quality care services in all areas for our loyal life companions. We have since expanded to 3 outlets and offer daycare, grooming & spa services as well as overnight pet staycation spaces for all pets. We believe that in our busy Urban Cityscape, with its busy hustle and bustle, our services are essential to cultivate emotionally and socially balanced dogs.

**Opportunities & Role**

As the Daycare Team Lead you will be expeTcted to anchor your crew in ensuring that the dogs under our care are well taken care of and are physically and mentally stimulated during their time with us. This is a high energy and fun position that balances both leadership of people and dogs. The specifics of this role as detailed below:

- Plan excursions for the dogs
- Ensure that the daycare crew under you are clear about each dog's dietary needs, exercise and training requirements
- Checking on the safety of the daycare equipment
- Keeping our programs stimulating and exciting for the dogs
- Able to walk multiple dogs safely
- Give clear instructions to the crew on doggy dynamics
- Familiar with each dog that comes in for classes
- Training for team members on SOP, Safety Protoccols and dog handling techniques.
- Ensure discipline in adhering to company protoccols amongst your team members
- Ensure that dogs behave in a pro social manner and set clear boundaries for acceptable behaviour amongst the dogs under your care.

**Requirements**:

- Minimally 1 year of working experience with dogs
- Must enjoy being active and going outdoors
- Must be relatively fit and healthy, with no pre existing medical conditions
- Able to work well in a team
- Able to read dog body language well

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month

COVID-19 considerations:
We are a dog centric environment. Also, you will not be expected to liaise too much with customers. Further, we have sataggered shifts. A lot of our excursions and outings take place in open, well ventilated space.s
