**WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?**
**HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?**
**YOUR ROLE**:
- Conduct research to identify new markets and industry sectors, including in-depth business analysis to identify new competitive opportunities.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs and support in building client reports and presentations.
- Generate insights into the local startup ecosystem including the creation of reports and materials
- Engaging and building connections with local stakeholders in Malaysia ranging from government agencies, accelerators, incubators, community partners, media agencies, venture builders, and startups
- Represent Plug and Play locally by attending events, conferences, and even business development meetings with the sales and business development team
- New Corporate Partner Business Development:
- Map sales pipeline opportunities for the sales and business development team
- Identify strategies and opportunities for revenue growth for the team
- Forge and develop strong networks and relationships to enable continued rapid growth of Plug and Play
- Manage and track a robust pipeline of large, multinational corporations
- Work cross-functionally with partnership focused teams to meet and execute on client requests where required
- Collaborate with corporate executives at events, deal flow sessions, and office visits to ensure all partners are engaged according to their business needs.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Consulting, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 - 3 years prior experience selling technology, innovation or startup products into corporations or selling Corporate solutions will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in public speaking.
- Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, Sales Navigator, and other technology solutions for driving sales.
- Open to travel between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as required.
- A passion for entrepreneurship is a must and startup experience a plus.
- Having a strong existing network with corporate C-suite and innovation heads is a plus.
- A strong understanding of the cultural nuances to work within the Malaysian ecosystem is a plus.
- Proficient in speaking and writing in Malay is a plus.
- **Plug and Play's global attendance policy: 3 days at the office, 2 days home.
