The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery and related equipment to ensure smooth operations in a plastic manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and supports production by ensuring all machines are in safe and optimal working condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular preventive maintenance of production machines.
- Dismantle, assemble, and replace machine parts as required.
- Repair, modify, and service mechanical components.
- Fabricate metal structures, supports, and fixtures for production use.
- Install and set up new production machines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in machine maintenance or fitting preferred.
- Forklift driving experience is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of welding, cutting, and fabrication tools.
- Able to read basic mechanical drawings and perform hands-on repairs.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a production environment.
- Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
- Willing to work overtime and support urgent maintenance tasks.
