[What the role is:]

The incumbent is expected to lead a team and oversee the Project Management Lifecycle of new and revamped libraries and other NLB properties. This includes ensuring that the public continues to see the physical library as relevant to lifelong learning and other NLB properties continue to be relevant in its key roles.

**[What you will be working on]**:

- Lead a team of project managers and assistant manager in all NLB A&A projects and library development projects under NLB Master Plan for Library of The Future
- Oversee the entire Project Management Lifecycle from planning, execution, monitoring and closure
- Ensure project completion on time, within budget and according to specifications
- Execute projects which includes preparation of specifications, calling of ITQs/ITTs, evaluation and making recommendations on tender awards
- Evaluate internal stakeholders' requests for Variation Works and ensure proper documentations and approvals are in place prior to work commencement by contractors
- Supervise consultants' and contractors' work performance closely and track that all contractual deliverances by contractors/consultants are timely and in accordance with NLB's requirements
- Manage project closeout and post contract activities
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal project team members and stakeholders at various stages of the project
- Liaise with and work in partnership with external agencies to ensure all approvals for construction/fitting-out works are obtained timely, as planned.

**[What we are looking for]**:

- Background in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering, Building, Project & Facilities Management or other equivalent
- At least 5 years with demonstrated track records of project management (A&A works) with knowledge in Facilities Management and M&E related work will have an added advantage.
- Experience in leading a team under project management and working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Be familiar with regulatory requirements
- Good command of English and communication skills (writing and speaking)
- Strong team player with good networking skills
- Positive mindset, meticulous, result-oriented, and analytical
