**Your background**
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in Risk & Control and/ or Audit, Regulatory exam management

**What you can expect**

The Global Banking & Markets Anti-Money Laundering (GBAM AML) organization is a central control function which governs, facilitates, and oversees the global end-to-end GBAM AML program across all GBAM businesses and jurisdictions through implementation of processes and controls to effectively managing AML and economic sanctions risks. The team performs AML Know-Your-Client/Client Due Diligence (KYC/CDD) and covers refresh (periodic review) as its core activity. Additionally, there is a dedicated team responsible in reaching out to clients for KYC/CDD documentations in order to fulfil its due diligence requirements. The team also covers internal/external audits, remediation of AML KYC/CDD of bank clients.

**What you will do**
- Involves in Audit & Exam coordination, ensure proper governance and protocol is followed
- Support and ensure synchronization across global, regional and in-country stakeholders
- Support Regulatory & GFC Risk Assessments and Survey reporting, regular and off-cycle regulatory requests on customer due diligence information. Ensure adequate reporting governance, challenge data sanity and approach; track timely submission
- Performs independent assessment of responses and dialogue coordination
- Support APAC Regional Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), identify and proactively escalate emerging thematic risk within the customer due diligence processes
- Ensure Pre-audit Review and Readiness
- Engage with GBAM AML Process Owners and GBAM COOs to review and debate potential pipeline issues; engage with Corporate Audit and GFC partners during Issue identification, action plan review/approval and audit validation.
- Assist in coordination across AML related stakeholders including Money Laundering Risk Officer (MLRO), Global Financial Compliance (GFC) and AML Onboarding team
- Actively liaise and manage relationship with APAC Financial Crimes and Compliance and Corporate Audit for processes supported by APAC GBAM AML
- Coordinate across other GBAM AML support partners and stakeholders to ensure global process engagement
- Identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation
- Act as an ambassador of the risk culture, coordinate and raise Self-Identified Audit Issues
