Ui/ux Designer

**What To Expect**:
With a growing focus on our online platforms, we are looking for UIUX Designers who can improve our user experience. If you are passionate about creating attractive and interactive digital platforms, you’re at the right place

**General Responsibilities**:

- Create an attractive experience on TC’s digital platforms that leads to longer time spent on these platforms
- Communicate with various departments to understand their digital needs
- Collaborate with the Visual Experience Team to increase user friendliness on digital platforms
- Conducting research and synthesising qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

**Must-Haves**:

- Empathy and heart to design for people
- Experience in UIUX software (e.g. Figma, Miro)
- Portfolio of completed UIUX-related projects
- Problem solving and design thinking skills
- Experience using a range of user research methods (Usability Testing, Heuristic Analysis, Card Sorting, etc) and an understanding of when to use them
- Eye for good UI design
- Drive to make things happen
- Leadership qualities to see through projects from start to finish
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team

**Nice-to-Haves**:

- 1 - 2 years of working experience in UIUX roles
- Basic Adobe software skills (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Understanding of basic HTML/ CSS
