Singapore Zurich Insurance Full time

Purpose

Deliver operational HR services to support the business requirements and contribute to the achievement of customer service delivery standards. Support Human Resources Business Partners, Business Managers and assignees to ensure compliance with the global mobility framework, as well as with immigrations, tax and social security legislation at all times.

Key Accountabilities

**HR Operations**:

- Provide advisory Human Resources services to colleagues on a daily basis, by being focal point of contact, to ensure adherence to employment regulations and Group standards.
- Research primary Human Resources data sources, select relevant information, analyze key themes and trends and make recommendations to support the business in driving improvement.
- Support senior management in developing and improving Human Resources processes (e.g. Development of Standard Operating Procedures) and systems relevant to area or discipline.
- Advise and support line management and employees in Human Resources processes to ensure alignment across the organization. Proactively partner with Human Resources Business Partners and Human Resources Center of Expertise to execute on operational procedures and processes and support country/ functional management teams to ensure the achievement of business goals.
- Support and lead HRSS related projects and platforms enhancements (e.g. HRUX, HRServiceNow and GEMs platforms) through communication, training, and other initiatives.
- Ensure HR compliance and participates in business/operations audits and manage statutory reporting in compliance with tax rules and legislation
- Respond to insurance provider for statistical and other information.
- Coordinate projects and use systematic and generally accepted approach in tracking progress on projects or assignments.
- Analyze processes and lead efficiency efforts.
- Troubleshoot to solve employee concerns.
- Responsible for the governance of employee data and system controls
- Maintain and update employees’ personal files, and ensure the employee details are accurate on the HR Information System
- Generation of Employees Letters / internal communications. Administer employee benefit program & absences leave
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data like leave balance, flexi benefits, etc

Key Accountabilities (con't)

**Global Mobility**:

- Review, record and consolidate all Global Mobility policies as necessary to align with organization, business and talent needs, review and streamline processes to ensure smoother flow of operations with regards to movement of talent between countries.
- Manage regional external relocation, tax and immigration vendors, define business requirements and ensure adherence to contractual obligation at all times.
- Monitor key data from relocation, tax, and immigration providers; identify potential trends and offers cost effective solutions to effectively respond
- Support organizational effectiveness, and change and project management to improve operational efficiency and talent-mobility workforce planning including building and maintaining mobility trackers and process documentation regarding international assignment, relocation, or transfer programs
- Act as the focal point of contact between various vendors and assignees. Support assignees on general queries and support other functions for reports and information in the regional mobility space by effective means.
- Provide excellent customer experience to all inbound foreign nationals with on the ground support relating to mobility activities.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and support onboarding efforts where relocation services are required. Ensure proper documentation for all stages of assignment and for audit purposes.
- Work closely with HR Services team to provide support or information related to global mobility

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Finance, or relevant business field strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR operations and global mobility role
- Strong knowledge of general HR practices, policies, and guidelines
- Cultural agility, high degree of empathy and ability to manage ambiguity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A team player who thinks and acts across-functions
- Proactive and focused on continuous improvement, is a self-starter with a desire to learn
- International experience; accustomed to working in a global team across time zones
