- Design and implement a greenfield solution according to the functional specifications in latest Java technologies and frameworks.
- Prepare, plan and execute the roll-out from support to production services.
- Collaborate with the technical lead to elaborate technical specifications.
- Draft specifications, technical design, unit tests, code reviews and detailed system integration documents, in addition to the other documents required during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a high standard of delivery quality.
- Actively participate in the analysis and resolving of issues in production, and to provide technical support in case of need.

**Requirements**:

- Singaporeans only
- 1 year+ experience in Java-J2EE software engineering, ideally in a banking environment

**Technical**
- Basic understanding on:

- Java (e.g. design patterns)
- Spring framework (e.g. Core, Testing, Data Access, MVC, Integration)
- Relational database systems (OracleDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- ORM frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
- Source code management system (e.g. Git)
- DevOps CI/CD tooling (e.g. Gitlab, Maven, Groovy, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Messaging systems (e.g. Kafka, WebSphere MQ, RabbitMQ)
- Unit & integration testing
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)

**Functional**
- General knowledge in banking
- Knowledge of international trade and commodity finance domain is a plus
