JR46973 Manager, Global A/T Cycle time
As a Manager in Global A/T Cycle Time Program, you will manage and mentor a team of cycle time team members that focus on Network HVM & NPI A/T End-to-End Cycle Time (E2E CT). You will lead and drive the network CT improvement programs to meet the E2E CT and CTx goal. This includes liaison with Site CT Owners and other stakeholders on various activities such as performance updates, audits, improvement projects, trainings, data automation and analytics, etc. You will deliver competitive results by removing barriers, troubleshooting, escalating critical business issues, managing the resource and providing innovative solutions. You and your team will be responsible for guiding and continuously improving the performance of the global A/T Network Manufacturing teams through Best Known Method sharing, process benchmarking and standardization. This will be achieved by developing metrics that clarify deliverables, providing manufacturing expertise, and supporting various C/T strategic initiatives. Other responsibilities include building networks to deliver strategic & tactical solutions as well as ensuring a safe, compliant and ethical workplace.
**Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Management:
- Manage team performance and mentoring of team members.
- Create an environment of motivation to foster team member’s engagement to the fullest of their potential.
- Ensure a safe, compliant and ethical Work Environment.
- Technical:
- Drive and lead network A/T End-to-End C/T improvement programs to deliver competitive results.
- Collaborate with Central & Site MFG/PLN IE/OI/Equipment/Process Engineering to continuously improve equipment efficiency, increase factory output capability, labor productivity, process optimization, etc. for Best-in-Class cycle time performance.
- Collaborate with HVM & NPI planning stakeholders (e.g. NPM, POM, ATCSP, ATTP, IE) to ensure capacity is in place to meet both customer demand, business plan, and cycle time.
- Excellence in communication with leadership on A/T Network performance and forecast.
- Provide feedback to develop smart manufacturing concepts to cycle time management, inventory management, dispatching/ scheduling system and equipment efficiency management.
- Analyze and benchmark performance and provide direction in meeting the company business plan & strategic objective.
- Promote Best Known Method sharing and business process standardization across network
- Provide coaching/training to network to alleviate site team members skillset in cycle time management.
- Support all audit activities related to Cycle Time.
**Requirement**
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field of study
- Min 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or related fields. Min 2 years’ experience in leadership role is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in engineering role and preferably with experience in smart manufacturing, equipment engineering, process engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong understanding of A/T processes and system/physical automation (Equipment Efficiency Methodology, NPI and HVM cycle time planning, capacity planning, labor planning, lean manufacturing, VSM, BE business process & reports structure).
- Business intelligent skillset such as developing analytics report in Tableau, PowerBI, and ability to code in SQL/Python, etc. is preferred.
- Good leadership skill in mentoring, building teams, managing the performance of teams and people development.
- Excellent analytical and good decision making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally.
- Proven ability to solve problems across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside the BE Sites.
- Proven ability to multi-task and lead team to meet challenging deadlines and goals.
- Demonstrated ability to measure self and team for efficiency and effectiveness.
