W&W Inspection, a reputable and fast-growing company based in Singapore, is seeking a Main Inspector - House Defect Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team. As the Main Inspector, you will play a crucial role in leading and ensuring the quality and safety of residential properties through conducting thorough inspections and identifying defects. As the team expands, you will also have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, such as training and monitoring new team members.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential properties to identify and document any defects or issues.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports with accurate findings and recommendations for clients, in electronic format if required.
- Lead and mentor other team members to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in inspection processes.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve inspection procedures and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Fluent spoken English skills, can communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide professional advice on defect rectification (a plus if you can speak good Mandarin).
- Participate in continuous learning and stay updated with industry best practices and new inspection technologies.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in house defect inspection or related fields (negotiable).
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train other team members effectively.
- Knowledge of Singapore's building regulations, construction materials, and defect identification processes.
- Good eye sight, strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used for defect documentation and reporting.
