As Assistant Director, Information Security, you will play a vital role in implementing Ensign’s cybersecurity vision. Reporting to the Information Security Office, you will assist the Director in leading a team of security professionals and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify, assess and mitigate information security risks. You will also develop and execute security operations to secure the organisation’s assets, data and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and implement the organization’s information security strategy, objectives, and initiatives.
- Validate the operational security reports by the SOC team and lead resolution initiatives.
- Lead in the in-depth security incident investigations. This includes responding and managing cyber security incidents with SOC and CIRT teams, to carry out the cyber incident management plan effectively.
- Ensure the of threat intelligence into incident response processes, including the development of playbooks and response plans based on known threats.
- Carry out cyber incident response plan and identify roles responsible for carrying out mitigation activities.
- To identify and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities, working closely with various stakeholders and SOC teams on security events.
- Prepare and provide management reporting and updates on security operations.
- Support and lead security operations during internal and external audits and security assessments such as Penetration testing, red/blue teaming exercise, table-top exercises.
- Conduct cyber security validation with a strong understanding of security principles and technologies to ensure that cybersecurity controls are implemented appropriately.
- Stay updated on the latest emerging trends and advancements in threat intelligence and cyber threat landscape to continuously sharpen cyber security validation procedures.
- Formulate and implement Security Awareness Training Programs for employees to continuously strengthen the security posture and ensure healthy culture of compliance.
- Stay updated with best practices in governance, risk management, and compliance, patch management, identity access management and incorporating these into policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH) are highly desirable
- Proven experience (3+ years) in information security, IT security or a related role.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST and MITRE)
- Familiarity with security technologies.
- Strong process, policy development and excellent report writing skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
