Senior Ems Procurement Operation Manager

Core responsibilities

Procurement functional responsibility
- Supplier capability build up including engineering capabilities, manufacturing process capability, partnership with cross functional team for quality and delivery performance improvement
- YOY cost down initiative for replenishment items ( direct savings)
- Capex/Opex budgeting management
- Supplier relationship management
- Supply flexibility improvement as lead time reduction of elements levels, drive continuous improvement projects
- Partnership with SOP team for overall capacity based on business trend for replenishment items
- Strategic purchase decisions for raw materisls and elements based on market intelligence report
- Partnership with PT for VA/VE project initiatives
- Escalation path of cross functional team for EMS operational issues.

RISK MANAGEMENT
- Manage and minimize product risk & supplier risk by preventive action and contingency plan
- Drive and improve supplier relationship & performance in collaboration with other stakeholders to mitigate supply risk

QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- Ensure high-quality, high-performance production process
- Manage resolution of quality issues in product life cycle

RELATIONSHIP/ STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Drive regional stakeholder management & KPI execution
- Ensure smooth operational momentum in production, quality and on-time delivery
- Ensure strong collaboration with the team located across Asia and Europe

OTHER
- Understand the requirements and maintain healthy & safe work environment for self and others
- Share best practices globally; be responsible for governance and compliance, uphold LEGO policies & practices
- Continuously seek improvements in daily work independently
- Support management & global team with various responsibilities, initiatives and projects
- Support development of others within functional area

- Build the Global category network with site/ regional procurement & receives their local inputs and collaboration.

Do you have what it takes?
- Degree in Business management, supply chain management, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
- Min 15 years’ relevant working experience in EMS operation management: strategic sourcing/ project management; procurement/ supplier/ portfolio management experience; with high quality deliverables in a multinational manufacturing environment,
- Strong negotiation, communication, influencing and analytical skills with ability to develop & manage supplier and stakeholder relationships
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of manufacturing methodologies & processes of SMT and Box built
- Proven experience in EMS cost modeling
- Strong knowledge in mechatronics commodity markets, key players and transactions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strategic & analytical thinking abilities
- Solution and results orientation with proven ability to deliver
- Proactive and collaborative
- Willingness and ability to travel
- SAP, Oracle or other MRP experience
- Excel, word, outlook, power point skills
