Singapore BALYASNY ASSET MANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

The Fixed Income Finance team within Global Treasury at Balyasny Asset Management is hiring for a Repo Trader in Asia.

The Repo Trader will:

- Manage daily firm level financing of the APAC Sovereign and credit books with focus on repos and reverse repos
- Provide Portfolio Managers with financing market color and analysis
- Maintain active dialogue with bank traders regarding market dynamics and trends to improve funding rates
- Assist with cash management in the region, including NDF currency hedging
- Assist with strategic initiatives to optimize funding and liquidity
- Collaborate with Middle Office on resolving fails and trade discrepancies

Qualifications and Requirements:

- 3+ years of relevant financial services experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the repo markets and broader money market functioning
- Keen interest in managing a repo business
- Experience building strong internal and external relationships
- Ability to improve processes and workflows as well as utilize technology to increase efficiency and productivity
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, data manipulation, macros)
- Experience of one or more of the following would be a plus:

- Japanese, Australian and Indian Sovereign bonds
- Indian single stock futures
- Credit bonds
- Cash management and non-cash collateral management
- Programming skills (Python/R/SQL/VBA/C#/Tableau)
