**Role and responsibilities**
- Release Management Define yearly release calendar for all locations taking into consideration the requirements and constraints of production activities
- Ensure all related governance (Dev & Testing practices, Env policies) are applied as defined inprocedure document Manage business release steering commitees with senior management C-level
- Perform Risk and issue escalation with impact analysis on change of schedule of inter-dependentreleases Wherever applicable, ensure the Go-Live checklist is fully validated before releasing changes to production
- Continually work towards making improvements in the release & environment process
- Environment Management Defining the environment allocation and governance policies.
- Defining environment requests and allocation rules and work flows Defining the service level agreements for environment allocation policies and environment refreshoptions
- Monitor the availability of test environment according to plan. Monitoring of environments on regular intervals and generate the report on usage
- Ensure that environments are shared where technologies are similar and where there is sufficient capacity
- Centralization of Test Environment related data, which will improve the usability and reduce thecost associated with test environment management

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or computer engineering.
- 10+ years overall experience as IT Professional.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in either release or test environment management.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Project Management principles.
- Good knowledge in Development life cycles and test life cycles.
- Mandatory Strong hands-on knowledge in Microfocus Release Control or any industry release management tool
- Strong critical thinker with problem solving approach.
- Strong coordination and triaging skill.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong on Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint ITIL V3 Foundation certified. Good knowledge on Service Now or Equivalent.
