Your Role
The Finance contractor is a member of the External Reporting team within the Finance department of ING Wholesale Banking Asia for 12 months. Familiar with MAS customer static requirements and SSIC Industry codes. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and ensure the accuracy of client static information and gatekeep accuracy of information used for local regulatory reporting.
**Your most important tasks will include**:
Lead customer static data project relating to regulatory reporting.
Work closely with business, technology, and other stakeholders from project initiation, remediation, and implementation of new governance framework.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to advise on interpretation of MAS requirements for upstream client data inputs
Establish a robust regulatory reporting framework for upstream dependant data used for local Regulatory Reporting
Experience with MAS 610, MAS 649 amendment and subsequent handling of communications with regulators
**Help safeguard the bank**: support internal control of the bank via focus on a) efficiency and effectiveness of operations, b) reliability of regulatory reporting, c) compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and d) safeguarding the assets of the organization.
Act as a pro-active business partner and advisor for internal stakeholders in all the above-mentioned areas.

Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably also with audit background or professional (CPA/ACCA) qualification. Knowledge of local regulatory reporting requirements (MAS).
Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong English written and oral communication skills with proven success in influencing business decisions.
Product knowledge of wholesale banking products would be advantageous.
Proficiency in MS Excel. Excel Macro working knowledge.
Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across a cross-functional team and influence senior leaders.
Strong team player, self-starter and motivator, capable of working independently with mínimal supervision.
