We are looking for a **Lead Scientist **to lead the team and handle the whole process development in Singapore. The role is suitable for a great team player who is also proactive, driven, results-oriented, a dedicated high performer, and a keen learner. **What you'll be doing**:

- Research and development of the manufacturing of cell products, including seed train, pilot, and large-scale productions of biomass
- Strategize, design, develop and implement workflow and SOP for various aspects of cell cultures, including cell cultivation, 3D cell culture, cell banking, and cell properties characterization using various molecular and cellular techniques
- Operate bioreactors for production optimization of output quantity, quality, cost, and time
- Study and adopt industry standards in the process of producing cells and the associated products
- Assist in other R&D assignments, including lab setup and management tasks as necessary

**What we need**:

- Bachelor with 3 years of work experience or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Science, or related disciplines
- Solid industry work experience carrying out independent research, cell line development, upstream process development, and operation in bioprocessing is required
- Prior experience in cellular or molecular biology or bioprocess research is preferred
