As Product Owner, the incumbent shall collaborate closely with product managers and business owners to understand client and market needs, evolve product roadmap in line with overall business model and enable growth opportunities. He/she shall develop cases and define product features in conjunction with key stakeholders, managing the front-to-back product lifecycle from conception through release, all whilst ensuring maximum value with minimum waste. Further, he/she shall also research and analyse the market and users, following the latest trends in the industry to constantly evolve each product roadmap accordingly.

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

The Markets Product Owner APAC is a member of the Strategy & Business Operations Singapore team and shall endeavour to fulfil the ambitions defined and outlined for the team by Head of Strategy & Business Operations Singapore. He/she shall ensure active risk management and meet all regulatory and internal compliance expectations relating to the role.

As Product Owner, the incumbent shall collaborate closely with product managers and business owners to understand client and market needs, evolve product roadmap in line with overall business model and enable growth opportunities. He/she shall develop cases and define product features in conjunction with key stakeholders, managing the front-to-back product lifecycle from conception through release, all whilst ensuring maximum value with minimum waste. Further, he/she shall also research and analyse the market and users, following the latest trends in the industry to constantly evolve each product roadmap accordingly.

The incumbent shall also have regular dialogues with various Front representatives and Senior Management (i.e. Group Heads, Senior Client Partners) to be kept abreast of client needs/demands. This will help to ensure that products and services offered to clients remain relevant and competitive. The incumbent shall also build highly effective relationships across the Bank to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services to optimise service to clients.

**People **Management**

**Client Management (internal & external)**
- Collaborate closely with product management and business owners to understand client and market needs, evolving the product roadmap in line with overall business model and enable growth opportunities
- Develop cases and define product features together with key stakeholders, continuously prioritise feature/story backlog to achieve maximum value while minimising waste
- Provide direction to agile teams to ensure work focuses on items with maximum value aligned with the overall product strategy
- Ensure regular and effective communication and consultation with relevant stakeholders throughout the various stages of the project
- Regularly consult with Front representatives and Senior Management to be kept updated of clients’ needs/demands and take appropriate measures to fulfil them, where relevant

**Business Management**
- Manage the front-to-back product lifecycle from conception through release
- Research and analyse the market and users, follow the latest trends in the industry to constantly evolve each product roadmap accordingly
- Communicate team and product metrics to stakeholders
- Provide inputs/updates for the various management committees (as required) including delivering/articulating complex technical concepts in a straightforward and concise manner

- Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements
- Regular assessment of the function’s practices to mitigate associated risks arising out of and relating to the said function
