**Treaty Junior Broker**

**We will rely on you to**:

- Engage with clients and prospects to assess their needs.
- Assist team members with treaty broking activities for existing and prospective clients.
- Manage and execute the renewal process for existing reinsurance contracts and programs.
- Support negotiation activities with carriers and secure and compare submissions to provide the best service to clients.
- Attend client meetings as a part of the team to learn more about the business and better assist clients and Brokers.
- Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and participate in presentations to prospective clients.
- Provide first-level administrative support while learning routines, acquiring experience and developing skills.
- Ensure timely flow of materials and follow-up on contract documentation.
- Assist with responding to client queries and resolving issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to efficiently communicate and meet client requests.
- Keep up with changing market conditions and cultivate a thorough understanding of markets to better assist Brokers.

**What you need to have**:

- 1 to 2 years of client-facing experience in the reinsurance industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in treaty/general insurance, claims and/or underwriting would be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Curiosity to learn.
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and to work in a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
