As a Public Policy Senior Manager for Greater China based in Singapore, this will be your opportunity to be part of this conversation and actively assist in the development and advocacy of public policy solutions to pressing high technology issues.

While you may have started your Twitter experience learning additional technology policies of importance to Twitter and our users, you will have significantly enhanced your understanding and mastered many elements of such issues. You will have successfully educated policymakers and regulators with respect to Twitter and built strong, respectful relationships. Your passion for communication, partnerships and data will see you as a credible and respected spokesperson. You will have helped to elevate Twitter’s public policy brand among key audiences to a high level. You will have grown and developed Twitter’s relationships with a diverse array of organizations and experts. In doing so, you will have demonstrated personal initiative, comprehension, judgment, fortitude, and the ability to think tactically and strategically.

**What you will do**:

- More than 8 years of experience representing Public Policy with key external partners in government, civil society, academia and tech industry.
- Create, build, and maintain relationships with organizations in issue areas including freedom of expression, safety, privacy, and disinformation, among others. Actively engage with such civil society entities, including members of the Trust & Safety Council;
- Develop and convey timely updates to the global Public Policy team on top global agenda items; as well as with internal colleagues from other teams, including Safety Policy, Legal Policy, Policy Comms, and Partnerships, with respect to public policy issues in the markets.
- Develop and convey content, including talking points, narrative documents, and presentation materials for engagement with policymakers, regulators, and lawmakers.
- Provide front-line support on issues requiring engagement, solving problems, and escalations.

**Requirements**:

- University degree; advanced degree preferred
- Fluent English & Chinese language proficiency is required to support our business & users in the Greater China region
- Significant experience in government, politics, or public policy with deep familiarity across all three disciplines
- Substantial success developing partnerships and cross-functional initiatives, especially with non-profit organizations and /or academic institutions
- Awareness and understanding of laws and regulations important to Twitter and the people who use Twitter across the Greater China region
- Outstanding written and oral communications and interpersonal skills with a passion for data-driven results
- Reasonable fluency in social media and high technology
- Passion for Tweets and the power of communications to change the world for the better.
- Exquisite judgment and a sense of humor
