This is not your typical accounting role. We’re looking for a sharp, problem-solving Senior Accountant who is passionate about building things and making a tangible impact.

You will be the right hand to our VP of Finance, helping to transform our finance function from the ground up. This is a role for a builder.

**What will I be doing?**:

- **Full-Set Accounting**: Own the full spectrum of accounting for our group entities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- **Month-End Closing**: Lead a timely and efficient month-end and year-end closing process, including the preparation of bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for management review, providing clear and concise supporting schedules.
- **Team Mentorship & Review**: Act as the primary technical guide for our finance specialists. You will review their work, including commission calculations, payment runs, and invoice processing, to ensure accuracy and provide constructive feedback.
- **Process Improvement**: Partner with the VP of Finance to analyze current financial workflows, identify bottlenecks, and actively support the implementation of more efficient processes and systems.
- **Audit & Compliance**: Lead the annual audit process by preparing all necessary schedules, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and resolving queries to ensure a successful and timely completion. You will also manage preparations for GST and corporate tax filings.

**What is required of me?**:

- **Experience**: 4-5 years of hands-on, full-set accounting experience.
- **Skills**: You are an Excel whiz and are comfortable with modern accounting software (e.g., Xero). You have a degree in Accountancy or Finance (ACCA/CPA is a plus).
- **Mindset**: This is the most important part. You are a **natural problem-solver**. You don’t just follow processes; you question them and have a genuine curiosity for making things better.
