**Responsibilities**:

- Provides functional leadership and managerial direction to the sites’ accounting and finance resources and operations.
- Leads, develops and motivates a team of professionals by empowering and encouraging initiative, high quality relationships and the ability to communicate openly and honestly while providing ongoing performance feedback. Support site management team in areas such as coaching, training and analysis in alignment with VP of Finance and global goals.
- Ensures compliance with both U.S. GAAP and local statutory reporting including safeguards and controls including inventory, receivables, payables, and capitalized property.
- Ensures that books are closed on time and accurately.
- Ensures compliance with Corporate-wide control and compliance requirements that include Corporate Finance Reviews, control self-assessments, liaison with audit and division personnel on matters of internal control as well as for external audits.
- Prepares and reviews annual Profit Plan and monthly forecast of sales and profit for the various divisions, drives root cause analysis and corrective measures in case of deviations.
- Actively involved in strategic initiatives including due diligence reviews or prospective acquisitions and transfers of work.
- Works directly with the Division Manager and VP of Finance in developing and driving GDP, Innovation, New Business and Operating Reviews.
- Drive transparency and insight into business performance to drive accurate forecasting and planning through the use of strong, consistent KPIs and effective countermeasures to meet and exceed business commitments.

**Requirements**:

- BS degree required in Accounting. CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in accounting with at least four years of accounting and managerial experience in a mid to large size, manufacturing company (or division thereof). Experience at a ‘Big 4’ or ‘Tier 2” accounting firm preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is essential. Understanding of lean principles and techniques preferred.
- Persuasive leadership and superb technical accounting skills to coach guide and motivate the accounting team as a valued resource to the organization. Strong competencies in emotional intelligence, leadership, continuous improvement, and business acumen.
- Impeccable integrity; superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate and engage personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Strong English skills required
