The Assistant Director, Graduate Programmes, is responsible for administering the research graduate programmes at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The Assistant Director reports to the Deputy Director, Graduate Programmes and works closely with the Director, PhD Programme.

**Responsibilities**:
PhD Programme management- Support Director, PhD Programme in administering graduate research programmes, including admissions and assessments; curriculum development; outreach; student well-being; and, graduation- Engage in strategic planning and review of the PhD programme ensuring relevance to academia/market/industry- Manage PhD admissions workflow through collaboration with NTU and internal stakeholders- Oversee PhD scholarships, ensuring sufficient awards to align with enrolment targets and tracking utilisations- Prepare course/degree proposal documentation for approval by School, University and Ministry (where applicable) and monitor approval timeline- Work with Director, PhD Programme to produce annual PhD programme report and donors’ reports- Collate data for submission to School and University- Ensure processes adhere to University’s policies and guidelines as well as audit requirements, and review and recommend opportunities for process alignment, automation or enhancement- Support Director, PhD Programme in managing and supporting the Graduate Student Club- Provide secretariat support for key meetings- Contribute to development of media strategy

Finance- Draft and monitor operating budget for the PhD programme- Manage scholarship budgets- Provide inputs for the long-term budget planning for the unit

Leadership- Manage PhD administrators- Mentor and coach team members to support their professional development

**Requirements**:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree is preferred- Background in higher education and/or healthcare administration- Experience in finance, strategic planning and management- Excellent organisational, written, and oral communication skills- Highly collaborative team player- Meticulous, resourceful, and adaptable

This is a 3 years contract appointment.
