**What the role is**
- The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental authority for the early childhood (EC) sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children’s development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and childcare centres. ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and is hosted under the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
The Quality Assurance Branch oversees the implementation of Singapore Preschool Accreditation Framework (SPARK) which aims to provide recognition and support for preschool leaders in their efforts to improve teaching and learning, administration and management processes to enhance the holistic development and well-being of young children. Assessors in the branch conduct SPARK assessments for preschools that aspire to be SPARK-certified, developmental visits to preschools as mid-term check at the 3rd year mark of the SPARK Certification period, and training workshops to familiarise preschools with the SPARK assessment tool.

**What you will be working on**
- As part of ECDA's effort to uplift the quality of the preschool sector in Singapore, you will be deployed as Early Childhood Quality Assessor. You will be involved in the quality improvement journey of the preschool sector which includes:

- Conducting assessment of preschools using Singapore Pre-school Accreditation Framework (SPARK);
- Training and coaching preschool leaders and teachers in SPARK;
- Developing policies related to quality improvement for the preschool sector; and
- Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives for the preschool sector.

**What we are looking for**
- At least 5 years experience in middle management in preschool(s)
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and leadership skills
- Good communication and language skills
- Has a nurturing disposition
- Is able to work independently and at the same time, an effective team player
- Is a meticulous, resourceful and organised individual
