COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The FairPrice Group Supply Chain Business Unit (FPG SC BU) or Grocery Logistics of Singapore Pte Ltd (GLS) is a key logistics service provider to NTUC FairPrice Group and external customers. Our services provided include inbound logistics, warehouse and fulfilment and last mile delivery to the stores, customers and B2C home delivery.
DESIGNATION : Lead, Service Design
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will be responsible for the designing and implementing of logistics service bundles to serve our customers (existing and new). In addition, you will play an active role in partnering our Business Development team for new business propositions and contract renewals. You will also be involved in other Supply Chain related projects which require Service Design expertise.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and formulate the growth strategy to develop service offering plans with the aim to optimise existing capabilities and assets.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge pricing database of capital, manpower resources and operating costs, productivity standards and company information to support tender request.
- Partner the Business Development team in business meetings/presentations with internal/external customers to understand customers’ requirements and needs.
- Prepare presentation materials related to logistics service design for business meetings and ensure proper documentation of all proposals and engagements.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks (operationally) in commercial proposals.
- Collaborating with the distribution centre operation teams to ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and fleet resource.
- Close collaboration with project team on the implementation of the service bundles at operational levels.
- Lead or participates in cross-functional supply chain related projects to achieve improvement to customer service performance.
- Ensure efficient communication across functional teams for any trends, drivers, and takeaways in a clear and concise manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience related to logistics service design or supply chain operations or technology innovations (automation/digitalisation) in e-commerce, retail or FMCG.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain or any other related profession.
- Possess a strong understanding and experience in the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain and/or logistics operations (including cold chain operations).
- Deep understanding of the logistics industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and marketing strategies are a plus.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical mindset and skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and has effective change management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex solutions, to drive achievement of objectives and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams/stakeholders.
- Strong persuasive and influencing skills.

- High integrity and work ethic.
- Always learning, creative and open to ideas.
- Willingly to take risks and embrace challenges.
