**Responsibilities**:

- For 9.4MW Biomass Waste to Energy Plant- Understand the operational manual, process, and function of the respective machinery.
- Plan, implement and manage comprehensive predictive and preventive maintenance programs for cables (up to 22kV) and their auxiliaries, retrofitting programs in accordance with budget provisions and schedules (HV / LV cable network reinforcement / replacement, VLF).
- Knowledge of applicable International Technical Standard, Code of Practices, and local regulatory framework with regard to market rules and transmission codes will be advantageous.
- Work independently to operate assigned machinery.
- Formulate Safe Work Instruction (SWI) and Standard Operation Procedures for each machinery operation.
- Inculcate the importance of planning, taking all aspects into consideration to achieve smooth operations and maintenance
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks.
- Perform root cause analysis/ investigation to increase reliability and performance of equipment.
- Allocate resources effectively to reduce hiccups in operations and improve overall performance.
- Improve store management. Ensure all spare parts are arranged neatly and stock is properly monitored in terms of quantity and quality. Proper system to ensure stock accuracy and availability when required.
- Ensure 5S housekeeping is in place.
- Commit to plant safety procedures.
- Periodic maintenance to eliminate shock breakdown.
- Coordinate with Purchasers for spare parts purchase, stock, and inventory control.
- To ensure day-to-day smooth and safe operations.
- Update daily operations progress to the management for easy monitoring and reporting.

**Requirements**:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Sound working knowledge on major electrical systems, experience in Distributed Control systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, with a good understanding of the pneumatic and hydraulic control system.
